Shipping & Delivery
How your equipment gets to you
Gym equipment is heavy, awkward freight. How yours arrives depends on what you bought and where you are. This page explains both, so there are no surprises at the curb.
Where we ship
We ship to the contiguous 48 United States and Washington, D.C. only. We are not able to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories, APO/FPO military addresses or international addresses, and checkout will not accept those addresses.
If you have a project outside that area, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Your delivery options
Every option available for your address is shown at checkout, with the price, before you pay.
UPS, FedEx or LTL freight, delivered curbside anywhere we ship. Items under 150 lbs go small parcel; larger units and pallets go freight.
Our team delivers to your curb or garage. Items stay in the box and are not assembled. Priced by distance from Idaho Falls.
We bring it in, place it in the room you choose, build it and haul the packaging away. An in-home, unboxed placement option is also available for items that don't need assembly.
Choose pickup at checkout and we will let you know when your order is ready at 1539 Piper Street, Idaho Falls.
*Some items use a Ship to Store option instead of free pickup, with a fee that covers freight to our store. The fee is waived on orders of $2,500 or more.
How long will it take?
Lead times are set by the manufacturer, not by us. On average most products ship within 1 to 3 weeks, including production time. Some items are ready to ship within a week. Made-to-order and custom-configured equipment can run up to 15 weeks.
If a lead time matters to your opening date, ask us before you order and we will confirm the current build schedule with the factory.
How delivery works
Freight and local deliveries are scheduled with you. Nothing shows up unannounced.
Small parcel orders are emailed tracking when they leave. Local delivery and pickup orders ship to our Idaho Falls warehouse first.
For local delivery, our team reaches out to set a date and time. For nationwide freight, the carrier calls to schedule a delivery window.
Someone needs to be there to receive the shipment. Check it over and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
With delivery and assembly, we build the equipment, check it over and remove the packaging.
Free delivery and setup
Delivery and setup are free when both of these are true:
- Order subtotal over $2,500
- Delivery address within 60 miles of Idaho Falls
Excluded from the promotion: cable machines (including functional trainers and single- and multi-stack units) and flooring. These are quoted separately because assembly and installation typically take four to six hours on their own.
Outside 60 miles but within Idaho, Utah, Wyoming or Montana, delivery and setup are still available, with travel and setup fees based on distance. Fitness Supply may modify or discontinue this promotion at any time.
Brand shipping restrictions
Some manufacturers limit where their dealers can sell and ship. We honor those territory rules, so the following brands may not be eligible for nationwide shipping:
- Horizon Fitness
- Matrix Fitness
- Bowflex
- Force USA
- True Fitness
- Octane Fitness
- Additional models as designated by the manufacturer
If an item is restricted for your address, checkout may be blocked or our team will reach out to talk through alternatives. In most cases we can point you to a comparable machine we can ship to you.
If your equipment arrives damaged
Inspect the shipment before you sign for it. If you see damage, note it on the delivery receipt before signing and contact us the same day at Sales@fitnesssupply.com. We file the carrier claim on your behalf. Signing a clean receipt for a damaged shipment makes claims much harder.
Common questions
Do you ship outside the contiguous United States?
Not at this time. We ship to the contiguous 48 states and Washington, D.C. only. If you have a project outside that area, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Can I pick up my order instead?
Yes. Free local pickup is available on most orders. Choose it at checkout and we will let you know when your order is ready at 1539 Piper Street, Idaho Falls. Bring a vehicle that can handle the size of your order. Some items use Ship to Store instead, with a freight fee shown at checkout and waived on orders of $2,500 or more.
What is the difference between local delivery and delivery with assembly?
Local delivery drops the equipment at your curb or in your garage, still in the box, with no assembly. Delivery with assembly brings it into the room you choose, builds it and removes the packaging. Both are available across Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and Montana, and both are priced at checkout.
Do you install equipment we did not buy from you?
In our regional service area, often yes. Assembly, relocation and equipment removal are quoted as standalone services. Get in touch with the details.
Can you deliver to a commercial facility with no loading dock?
Yes, but tell us in advance. Liftgate service and inside delivery need to be arranged with the carrier before dispatch, and adding them after the truck is loaded costs more. Send us the site details when you request a quote and we will spec the freight correctly the first time.
Who do I contact about a delivery?
Call (208) 227-8466 or email Sales@fitnesssupply.com, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM Mountain Time.
